Meet Our Team

Vanessa founded WorkSquare in 2008 with the mission of empowering jobseekers to tread their path to financial prosperity and continues to serve as Chair and Co-Owner. She is also the Founder and Managing Partner of ZORA, a Tel Aviv-based impact investment fund backing entrepreneurs tackling climate change, environment, health access and food security.

Vanessa began her career in investment banking in Mexico City while consulting pro bono with the InterAmerican Development Bank and Ashoka. She holds an MBA from Harvard, a BA from Princeton University, and is a Heritage Fellow with the Wexner Foundation.

Ian joined WorkSquare in 2012 to manage this thriving staffing firm and assist founder Vanessa Bartram in growing the company. He is a long-time entrepreneur, beginning with the purchase and successful operation of a Chevron gas station and market in South Miami. After four years, he sold this business to acquire an established downtown Miami business center, which has since been sold to focus on WorkSquare’s growth.

 Ian is married with two beautiful children. He is a graduate of the Florida International University School of Hospitality and has been a licensed Florida real estate associate since 2005. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is extremely excited about the future of staffing, job placement, and financial literacy in South Florida.

Renade is a strategic business development specialist with over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry. Grant concentrates on the growth of WorkSquare and its subsidiaries by providing customized staffing solutions tailored to their clients’ needs.

 After Joining WorkSquare in 2015, Grant grew the company significantly and quickly became a partner in 2017. He is responsible for positioning the company in the government and private sectors with the aim of taking the company nationally as part of its long-term goal.

 Originally from Jamaica, his interests in the staffing industry began in his college years, and the success reaped has kept him in the industry until now. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from St. Thomas University and a Juris Doctor and an MBA from St. Thomas University Law School. He is married with five children and lives in Parkland, Florida.

Frank is a highly experienced staffing professional with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is known for his ability to build successful teams and his expertise in working with nurses and other healthcare providers.

Frank is passionate about helping others, and he takes great pride in his work. He is always looking for new ways to improve the lives of the people he works with, and he is committed to providing the best possible service to his internal and external employees. Frank’s passions include mentoring professionals first entering the workplace and fostering their career growth.

Millie joined WorkSquare in 2018 and has years of experience working in payroll management. In her role, she ensures that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. Her diligence and determination always show when working to resolve issues and searching for improvements in operational processes. A team player, Millie works well with others and is able to adapt to a changing environment.

Veronica is a dynamic professional with an impressive track record at Worksquare, where she has excelled in various roles over the years. Her diverse experience has honed her skills in talent acquisition, team management, and client relations. Now, she embarks on an exciting new chapter as she takes on the role of Nurse Recruiter. Veronica's passion for healthcare and genuine interest in helping others align perfectly with this new endeavor. Her proven ability to connect with candidates and understand their unique needs ensures a smooth and fulfilling recruitment process for both nurses and healthcare facilities alike. With her infectious enthusiasm and unwavering dedication, Veronica is poised to make a significant impact in matching talented nurses with their dream opportunities and contributing to the betterment of healthcare services.

Leisha Denison is a medical credentialing specialist at Worksquare. She comes from a background in hospitality with the Walt Disney World Company, in addition to seven years of experience within the healthcare industry.  She holds a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Central Florida.   

Leisha is passionate about the evolution and progress of healthcare and is dedicated to providing the best experience possible for healthcare professionals.

In her free time, she can be found googling trips if not boarding a plane.
